Gary Sawall, owner of Tekworks, has over twenty two years’ experience as a proficient Systems Engineer in the field of information management and information systems within both the private and commercial sectors as well as the public health industry.
Gary has provided technical services and support to a distinct range of businesses including medical practices, dental clinics, educational facilities, law offices, and corporate offices since 1989. He is a certified technologist with extensive experience in server and workstation deployments, operating system and application customization, procedural management solutions, information privacy, computer equipment inventory and asset management. As an independent consultant, Gary has researched, designed, and implemented systems and projects as diverse as ‘paperless concepts’ for dental clinics, policies and procedures for email and Internet usage, server upgrades and complete network infrastructure replacement, medical practice management suites and billing system deployments, as well as data backup and recovery strategies for disaster planning.
With his extensive practical experience and academic development, Gary has become a veteran in providing end-user and desk side support, network and server maintenance routines, centralized data management, project co-ordination, and the design and subsequent build of new computer network systems and associated infrastructure.
